A woman in Bengaluru ordered an iPhone 15 during Flipkart’s Big Billion Days sale. To avoid any kind of fraud, he had opted for Open Box Delivery (OBD). However, when the delivery boy reached his address, he refused to open the box before marking the delivery. Meanwhile, he tried to hand over a big parcel to the customer. But the woman refused to accept the order without examining the goods. The woman’s brother present at the spot kept recording the video of the entire incident.
When this dispute started escalating, another delivery agent arrived at his door with a small package. Information about this entire incident has been given in a post on Reddit. Its title read – Beware of Flipkart scammers. An account named ‘taau_47’ wrote, ‘My sister ordered iPhone 15 on Flipkart sale. Open box delivery was chosen in this. But, the delivery agent tried to cheat us.
Delivery boy kept refusing to open the package
The post read, ‘This delivery boy came here with a big package. Now he is saying that he cannot open the box and show it. This packet will have to be accepted as it is. But, I refused to accept this. After this he called some people and they also started saying that no such facility is provided. During this time he was quite scared because we were recording everything. He also told this to his colleagues that a video of the entire incident had been made. After 2 minutes another man came carrying a small packet. He said that he would open the box and give the goods. In this way this matter was resolved.
