12 Police Officers Suspended for Using Social Media While on Duty: In Karachi, Pakistan’s largest city and economic capital Social Media Major action has been taken against the police personnel who used it.
Twelve more police officers have been suspended for using social media while on duty.
According to ARY News report, Additional Inspector General of Police Karachi suspended 12 more officers including three women and nine men for violating protocol. It is noteworthy that a day before this, six officers were also suspended.
Inspector General of Sindh Police Ghulam Nabi Memon has issued strict orders to the Additional Director General of Police, Karachi, Zonal DIGs and SSPs to take action against policemen who record and upload videos on TikTok while on duty.
