At least 16 people have died in an airstrike by Israel on Monday at a building from school in Gaza Patti.
According to local health officials, those killed include most women and children.
The emergency service of Gaza’s Health Ministry said that at least five children and four women lost their lives in the attack on this school located in Jabalia area, while many others were injured.
Israel’s army says that it only targets terrorists and is responsible for the death of citizens as its fighters remain active in densely populated areas.
There is currently no official comment from the Israeli army on this attack.
The attack took place when US President Donald Trump is about to travel to Saudi Arabia, Qatar and United Arab Emirates this week.
Significantly, after the ceasefire ended two months ago, Israel has intensified the war in Gaza. The human crisis has been further deepening due to the blockade of food items, medicines and other essential commodities for the last 10 weeks.
