Regarding the incident, officials said that it is being investigated as to how the crack in the ‘ski lift’ occurred. The incident occurred when tourists were going to Winter Park Resort to enjoy snowfall and go skiing.

Jane Miller, spokeswoman for Winter Park Resort, located about 113 kilometers west of Denver, said the lift at the resort shut down automatically after noon on Saturday. A crack was discovered in a section of the lift. He said that the people in the lift were brought down with the help of ropes after about five hours of hard work.
Service will start soon
Winter Park Resort spokeswoman Jane Miller said no injuries were reported in the incident. He said that the employees are replacing the part of the lift which had cracked on Sunday and the lift service will be resumed soon. (AP)
