Washington: A 26-year-old teacher in America used to have sex with her 16-year-old student right on the street. That too openly. The surprising thing is that other boys of her school used to stand nearby and guard while the teacher and student had sex. The teacher’s name is being told to be Hailey Clifton-Carmack. Apart from having sexual contact with the student, she has been accused of molesting other students, committing statutory rape on them and endangering their future.
The incident is from Missouri, USA, where a 26-year-old former high school math teacher has been convicted of serious sexual contact with her 16-year-old student. According to a report in People magazine, Haley Clifton-Carmack was arrested in January for her relationship with the student, which included having sex on the street while other students acted as “lookouts”. She is currently under house arrest. She will now be sentenced in this case on October 11.
Scratch marks found on student’s back
According to the statement, the victim of sexual assault showed another student photos of scratches on his back. He claimed the marks were inflicted by teacher Clifton-Carmack. Clifton-Carmack could face up to four years in prison under Missouri’s Sex Offender Assessment Program. According to a probable cause obtained by People magazine, a student revealed that Clifton-Carmack had openly discussed students in his class and his personal life, including his run-ins with administration due to “getting too close with students.” The Lackey School District superintendent confirmed a private discussion regarding his interactions with Clifton-Carmack.
Clifton was divorced
An informant student also alleged that according to the victim, Clifton-Carmack was divorced. So he trapped the child for a sexual partner. Court records show that Clifton-Carmack’s husband filed for divorce in August 2023. While the couple had a child. But they were officially divorced the next month after filing the application. Investigation of the teacher’s phone revealed objectionable and obscene conversations between Clifton-Carmack and the victim student. This revealed an illegal relationship between them. According to the criminal complaint, Clifton-Carmack continued to contact the victim until December 23, when he left the state and moved to Texas to live with his family. (Reuters)
