North Cascade National Park: Three climbers of Seattle have died in North Caskens National Park in Washington, USA. Sheriff Office officials have given information about this. The Okanogan County Sheriff Office said in a social media post that the accident was reported about 26 km from Majama on Sunday morning. The accident took place in a mountainous region where the rescue team managed to reach. This region is very popular among climbers.
Accident occurred while descending
The social media post of the Sheriff Office said that the accident occurred while landing with four mountaineers of Renton in the area of North Early Winter Spire. Three climbers died on the spot, who were 36, 47 and 63 years old. The helicopter rescue team helped remove the bodies from the hilly area. The post states that it is possible that the anchor broke during the landing, due to which the accident occurred. The investigation of the case is going on.
Call and asked for help
Okanogan County’s undersherif David Yarnell told the newspaper ‘Seattle Times’ that a climber was injured in an internal and head injury due to fall, but he somehow reached his car and called from the telephone booth and asked for help. After this, the injured climber was taken to the Harberview Medical Center in Seattle, where he is being treated. (AP)
