4 astronauts returned to Earth in capsule from space.
Cape Canaveral (America): 4 astronauts trapped in space for several months have finally returned safely to Earth. But Indian-origin astronaut Sunita Williams has not returned yet. Let us tell you that after spending about 8 months at the space station due to a malfunction in Boeing’s ‘capsule’ and storm ‘Milton’, four astronauts returned to Earth on Friday. These astronauts, who returned in the ‘Space X’ capsule after leaving the International Space Station in the middle of the week, landed in the Gulf of Mexico near the coast of Florida with the help of parachute.
These three American and one Russian astronauts who returned from space were to return to Earth two months ago, but their return was delayed due to a problem with Boeing’s new ‘Starliner space capsule’. The ‘Starliner space capsule’ returned empty due to safety concerns. After this, their return was delayed by two weeks due to bad sea conditions and strong winds caused by Hurricane Milton. ‘Space Barrett praised the in-country support team, saying, “The team worked with us to replan, retool, and redo everything and help us navigate all of these challenges.”
Sunita Williams could not return yet
The mission of two Starline astronauts, Indian-origin Sunita Williams and ‘test pilot’ Butch Wilmore, who have returned in their place, has increased from eight days to eight months. But till now he has not been able to return to earth. SpaceX sent two more astronauts four weeks ago. All of them will remain there till February. After months of being overcrowded, the space station now has seven crew members at its normal capacity, including four American and three Russian astronauts. Sunti Williams has also not been able to return yet due to a malfunction in the Starliner capsule. No date for his return has been decided yet. (AP)
