London: Five people were injured in a knife attack in Croydon, south London, on Thursday. The Metropolitan Police said a suspect has been arrested in connection with the incident which happened near an Asda supermarket. Of the five people injured in the knife attack, one has been taken to a trauma center in critical condition, while four others have been admitted to hospital, officials said. However, he has not given any information about the motive behind the attack.

The student was attacked

This is not the first incident of knife attack in Britain, such incidents have been happening here before also. Recently, a student was brutally murdered while going to school in London. The age of the student was only 15 years. However, after the incident, London Police arrested a minor accused. The girl was a student at John Whitgift School, a private girls’ school in Croydon. (AP)
