Major Earthquake Destruction: A 7.7 magnitude earthquake occurred in Myanmar at 11:50 am on Friday, which were felt in five countries including India, Thailand, Bangladesh and China. So far 23 people have died in this disaster, while hundreds of people have been injured.

The earthquake in Myanmar was at a depth of 10 km, 16 km north-west from the city of Sagiing. According to the American Geological Survey and German Research Center for Geochenses (GFZ), it was a powerful earthquake, which was felt in Myanmar, Thailand, Bangladesh, India and China.

Its tremors were felt in areas like Kolkata, Imphal, Meghalaya and East Cargo Hill in India. Dhaka and Chittagong in Bangladesh also recorded an earthquake, where 7.3 magnitude shocks occurred. 12 minutes after the earthquake, there was another 6.4 magnitude afterchrock in Myanmar, which further increased the panic.
Damage to Mandley Palace, bridge also demolished
A part of the historic Mandle Palace in Myanmar was damaged in the earthquake. In addition, a bridge collapsed completely in the township of the sagging area. In addition to the capital Nipita, a strong tremors were also felt in Kyauksey, Pin U Lvin and Shwbo. The population of these cities is more than 50 thousand, where many buildings collapsed and roads were torn.

Wounded in Bangkok, buildings started shaking
The earthquake in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, felt vibration in several tall buildings. In many places, there were cracks in the walls and pieces of roofs started falling. The water started falling down from the swimming pool on the top floor of a tall building, causing people to panic.
Hundreds of people came out of their homes and offices on the streets of Bangkok. Relief rescue work is going on fast to remove the people buried under the debris due to the fall of the building, but more than 80 people are still missing.
