Kathmandu: Nepal Police on Wednesday arrested 9 Indians for keeping 1.76 kg of gold and more than 18 kg of illegal silver. The arrest has been made due to involvement in illegal gold and silver trade from various parts of Kathmandu metropolis. According to a Bulletin by the Nepal Police, the police raided various gold treatment centers in Kathmandu on the basis of a confidential information and recovered 1.76 kg of gold and 18.45 kg of silver from the accused.
Along with this, the police said that 1.7 crore Nepali rupees and 11,700 Indian rupees were also recovered from them. He was arrested by the team of Kathmandu District Police Circle as he did not have any precious goods bills or any other assistant documents. According to this, 30 -year -old Navnath Baku Kasi is also among the arrested people. They are all residents of Mumbai, Maharashtra and are currently living in Kathmandu. According to Bulletin, all the accused are between 18 and 38 years old. After being arrested, the police handed him over to the Internal Revenue Department Office of Lalitpur district for investigation. (Language)
