Seoul: A major deal between Russia and North Korea has created panic in the world amid the ongoing war with Ukraine. Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un have taken the biggest step to strengthen friendship and strategic partnership between the two countries. North Korea’s ‘Korean Central News Agency’ (KCNA) said that the bridge will facilitate cross -border travel, tourism and exchange of goods.
Direct supply of weapons will be easy
In the Ukraine war, North Korea has been accused of giving weapons to Russia. Now there is a possibility of further boom in the supply of arms due to the development of a direct road route between the two countries. This has stirred up from Ukraine to America. A railway bridge and air service already connects North Korea and Russia and in June 2024, the two countries agreed to build a bridge for automobiles on the Tuman River that flows along the borders of North Korea with Russia and China.

According to government media agencies, on Thursday, North Korea and Russia held a simultaneous ceremony for the construction of the bridge in their respective cities. The agencies said that North Korean Prime Minister Pak was Song Song and Russia’s Prime Minister Mikhail Mishostin attended the function through video links.
