Black smoke rising after a fire in a Chinese market.
Shanghai: 8 people have been burnt alive due to a massive fire in a market in China’s northern province of Hebei. While more than a dozen people are reported injured. The fire was so terrible that within no time a black cloud of smoke covered the entire city. It is being told that this accident happened in a vegetable market in China, where eight people died and 15 were injured due to fire. This information has been given in Chinese media.
Chinese media quoted officials as saying that the fire broke out in Zhangjiakou city on Saturday. Information about the fire was received around 8:40 in the morning. After about an hour, it was extinguished after much effort. Now the cause of the fire is being investigated. Videos posted by other media in China showed a huge black plume of smoke, as well as large flames, over a market in the city’s Qiaoxi district.
Fire broke out in vegetable and electronic market
Company data provider Kichacha was quoted as saying that the fire broke out in the Liguang vegetable market. This market was opened in 2011. From vegetables and fruits to sea food and electronics items are sold in this market.
