A visa six countries, integrated GCC tourist visa will start soon, Indians will get benefit

An Integrated Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) tourist visa for non-khadi residents will be launched soon. This was announced by GCC General Secretary Jasim al-Budaivi on Wednesday.

This statement was issued by the GCC Secretariat after the 39th meeting of directors of passport departments of GCC Home Ministries. Al-Budaivi appreciated the collective efforts made by the member countries in the development of the integrated visa system and described it as in line with the shared vision of the regional leadership.

Tourism and economy will get a boost

The General Secretary said that this initiative will play an important role in promoting tourism and strengthening economic integration among member countries. He also clarified that the concerned authorities are committed to adopting modern techniques and responding to global security challenges.

The visa system will facilitate travel through the same visa in countries such as UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait and Bahrain, making the travel process more smooth, safe and tourist friendly.

Tourists do not need separate visa for every country

The integrated visa system will act as a Schengen visa of the European Union, in which tourists will not need to take separate visas for every country. With the same application you will be able to travel to six countries. Let us tell you that this visa will be valid for 30 to 90 days and can be applied only through the online portal. Keep in mind that this visa will only be valid for tourism and family visits, but it is expected to benefit a big benefit to hospitality, aviation and retail sector.

Application process and necessary documents

The GCC Secretariat will soon launch an official portal, where passengers will be able to choose one of the two options.
