Islamabad: The horrific snowfall in different parts of Afghanistan has created a ruckus. The common life has been disturbed. 36 people have died and 40 others were injured due to this heavy snowfall and rain. The injured are being treated. A spokesperson of the Taliban government gave this information on Wednesday. Other lives are also in panic due to terrible snowfall and rain.
National Disaster Management Authority spokesperson Abdullah Jaan Psych said that the rains in most of the provinces of the country have reduced the effect of drought for several days, but it has caused loss of life and property. Initial data from the provincial authorities has shown that dozens of people have been killed and injured across the country due to snowfall and rain, most of whom are in Southwest Farah province.
Hundreds of houses and establishments destroyed
Psych said that 240 houses were completely destroyed due to bad weather and 61 others were damaged. He said, “Survey parties have been sent to the affected areas and the survey is going on in collaboration with non-governmental organizations.” The spokesperson said, “Roads have been blocked in some provinces due to snowfall and cooperation of the Ministry of Public Works Efforts are being made to reopen them from.
