Vatican City: Catholic devotees of Rome began to reach the last resting place of Pope Francis from Sunday. After this last resting place was opened to the public, devotees paid tribute at the white colored tomb located in St. Mary Major Basilica. A white rose was placed on the samadhi site (last resting place) with ‘Franciscus’ written – which is the name of the Pope in the Latin language. A light on the tomb was spreading its aura and there was a replica of the ‘Pectoral Cross’ of the departed Pope on the wall above it. People were moving forward, many people were also taking pictures from their phones. The administrators were urging the people to keep moving forward so that a crowd of thousands gathered in Rome Basilica could be arranged to see the samadhi. Outside the samadhi, there were long queues of devotees.
