Aircraft accident in Sudan
Khartum: A military plane has crashed on the outskirts of Khartum, the capital of Sudan. Many officers and citizens have died in this aircraft accident. In a statement issued late Tuesday night, the army said that the aircraft crashed while flying from an airport, killing military personnel and citizens. Many people have also been injured.
The injured were admitted to the hospital
The statement said, “The injured have been rushed to the hospital and the fireworks managed to control the fire at the accident site.” A military source had earlier told AFP that there was a technical fault behind the crashes of Antonov aircraft. The accident occurred near the plaintiff Sidana Airport.
Many houses were damaged
Eyewitnesses said that in the area where the aircraft fell, many houses have been damaged. Residents of North Omdurman reported that the aircraft crashed strongly exploded, causing power in many surrounding areas.
Aircraft accident took place last month too
Let me tell you that last month also an aircraft has fallen victim to an accident in South Sudan. The aircraft were riding 21 people, including passengers and crew members. At least 20 people died in the plane accident. The incident took place when the aircraft was flying from Unity Oilfield Airport and was going to the capital when the accident took place.
