US billionaire Allen Musk said that he had formed a new political party to bring back his independence to the people of America after differences with President Donald Trump. Musk announced on his social media platform ‘X’ that he has formed the ‘America Party’ to challenge the two-party system in the country. He took this big step just a day after putting this idea in front of the social media platform X.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk has taken this decision after a tremendous response and support received on this idea on social media. He said in a post on X, “With a margin of 1 you want a new political party and you will get it! Today, the ‘America Party’ has been formed to bring you back your freedom.”
The shocking announcement took place amidst increasing public conflict between Elon Musk and US President Donald Trump, which Musk once considered a prominent ally. Musk had invested millions of dollars to contest Trump’s re -election and also led the ‘Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE)’ while being the President of Trump, where he advocated aggressive spending cuts.
However, this week, after signing a large tax deduction and expense bill- The One Big Beautiful Bill ‘from Trump, the relationship of the two deteriorated, which was strongly opposed by Musk. In response to this, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX vowed to spend their property to remove MPs supporting this law, indicating political vengeance.
Tension increased further when Trump threatened Musk’s companies to stop the federal subsidy. Elon Musk had earlier also said that he would start a new political party and spend money to withdraw MPs supporting the bill. Republicans are worried that Musk’s dispute with Trump can sometimes harm the possibilities of saving their majority in the mid-term Congress elections of 2026.
Before launching his party, Elon Musk shared a pole on the occasion of US Independence Day, in which he asked whether the respondent “two-one (some people want freedom from a monotonous) system” which has dominated American politics for almost two centuries. This ‘yes’ or ‘no’ survey received more than 1.2 million reactions.
The owner of SpaceX had a bitter quarrel with the President when he led the efforts of cutting spending and cutting in federal jobs as heads of the so -called ‘Department of Government Efficiency (Doge)’. The quarrel was dramatically again in a dramatic manner when Trump pressurized Republican to pass his big domestic agenda as ‘One Big Beautiful Bill’.
When Musk strongly criticized this major expenditure bill, which eventually passed from the Congress and became a law, Trump threatened to deport the tech tycoon Musk and snatch subsidies from their businesses. When asked to reporters, the President said, “We have to see.” When asked if he would consider deporting Musk, who was born in South Africa and has US citizenship since 2002.
