‘Operation Sindoor’ and after that
On 22 April, 26 people died in a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. In response, India carried out ‘accurate and targeted attacks’ on terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) on the night of 6-7 May. After this, Pakistan tried to retaliate on Indian military bases from 8 to 10 May, which India gave a befitting reply. It was agreed to stop military action after negotiations between the Director General of Military Operations of the two countries on May 10. (Language)
