Tokyo: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav during his Tokyo Yatra also discussed strengthening India-Japan relations along with increasing foreign investment in Madhya Pradesh. He discussed with Japan’s Parliamentary Deputy Foreign Minister Hisashi Matsumoto on Wednesday to strengthen India-Japan relations and increase cooperation at the state level. Please tell that Mohan Yadav has gone to Japan on a 4 -day visit.
He will travel to Tokyo Osaka and Kobe from 28 to 31 January. The purpose of his visit is to inform investors about the opportunities in Madhya Pradesh and invite them to the upcoming global investor summit in the state. During the meeting, Matsumoto and Yadav highlighted the importance of bilateral relations and discussed opportunities to increase cooperation through more participation at the state level. Earlier, the Chief Minister and his delegation held a meeting with Daiki Arai, director of ‘A&D Medicals’.
Also met the chairman of Japan Railway
Yadav told Arai that 75 acres of land is available at concessional rates for companies desirous of setting up facilities in ‘Medical and Pharmaceutical Parks’ in Ujjain. ‘A&D Medicals’ showed keen interest in setting up manufacturing centers in the state earlier this year. Yadav also met Yaji Fukaswa, chairman of the South Asia Committee and Chairman of the East Japan Railway Company at Kedanuren (Japan Business Federation). India’s Ambassador to Japan Sibi George also attended this meeting. Yadav met George on Tuesday to discuss possible opportunities between Japan and Madhya Pradesh to promote industrial activities.
Japanese car maker Toyota officials also talk
He also met senior officials of Japanese car manufacturer ‘Toyota Motor Corporation’ and discussed the possibilities of investment in Madhya Pradesh. ‘Madhya Pradesh Global Investor Summit (GIS) 2025’ will be held in Bhopal on 24-25 February this year and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the event. More than 15,000 investors from more than 30 countries are expected to attend this two -day summit. This conference will be a major center of attraction for industrialists. (Language)
