Washington: The whole world is aware of what is happening in Bangladesh after the overthrow of Sheikh Hasina’s government. Bangladesh’s relations with India are no longer normal. This America has requested India and Bangladesh to resolve their differences peacefully. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Matthew Miller gave this information in his daily press conference. Responding to a question on the recent visit of India’s Foreign Secretary to Bangladesh, Miller said, “We want all parties to resolve their differences peacefully.”
Foreign Secretary had visited Bangladesh
Let us tell you that earlier, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri had visited Bangladesh on Monday and informed him about India’s concerns on the security of minorities in Bangladesh. “I highlighted India’s willingness to work closely with the interim government of Bangladesh,” Misri had told reporters in Dhaka at the end of his visit. We also got an opportunity to discuss some recent developments and issues and I apprised him of the concerns related to the safety and welfare of minorities.
Sheikh Hasina surrounded Mohammad Yunus
Former Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina has also fiercely targeted Mohammad Yunus, the head of the country’s interim government. Recently, while participating online in a program of her party Awami League, Hasina had said that Mohammad Yunus has thrown Bangladesh into anarchy. He had said that it is because of Yunus that mass murders are taking place in Bangladesh and Hindus are being targeted, he is the mastermind of all this.

Sheikh Hasina also said that attacks on places of worship of minorities, Hindus, Christians and followers of Buddhism have increased since August 5 in Bangladesh. We condemn this, Jamaat and terrorists have got a free hand under the new regime. He had said that Yunus had carried out mass murders as per a well-planned plan. (Language)
