Illegal migrants extracted from America who are in Panama.
Panama City: Panama transferred 98 people from various countries exrolled by the US to a camp in their Darian province who refused to return to their country. A government official has given information about this. A Panama official, familiar with this whole case, said on the condition of keeping his identity confidential, that the migrants sent to Darian have refused to return to their country and they will be kept here till there is a third to take them The country does not come forward.
Pravasi is under police supervision
These 98 exiled people are part of a large group of 299 migrants sent by the US government. Other people are under police supervision in a hotel in Panama City and arrangements are being made to send them back to their country. The Panama government has denied that these people have been detained, but they are under police supervision and are not allowed to go out of the hotel. These migrants are from other countries including Iran, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Afghanistan and China.
Chinese woman escaped from the hotel
Panama’s National Immigration Service had earlier announced on Wednesday that a Chinese woman had escaped from the hotel, but later officials reported that she had been caught again. Panama security minister Frank Abrego said on Tuesday that migrants are being provided medical care and food under the migration agreement between Panama and the US. (AP)
