The US intelligence assessment dismissed the Israeli claim, stating that Iran is at least three years away from developing nuclear weapons. Israel on June 13 launched airstrikes on Iran under ‘Operation Rising Lion’, claiming that Iran was in the “final stage” of nuclear weapons. However, according to an American intelligence report received by CNN, Iran is not only developing nuclear weapons, but may take three years to make it and reach the target.
The report stated that Israeli attacks damaged Iran’s Natanj Braddhan plant, but the Fordo plant, which is deep underground, had no effect. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has warned that Iran has nine atomic bomb -making uranium, but the delivery system is yet to be developed.
