American journalist Asra Nomani has posted a post on X, opening the raw-chitta of Pakistan, who raised terrorists. Asra revealed that Bahawalpur, located in Pakistan’s Punjab province, has been recognized as a breeding ground for terrorist organizations for a long time. Asra, a co-founder of the Daniel Pearl Project and former reporter of The Wall Street Journal, has long an account of the rise of terrorist network in Bahawalpur.

Asra appreciated India’s Operation Sindoor, saying that this is a long pending attack against a city that has been working as a launchpad for terrorist activities for decades. Let us tell you that India had attacked many terrorist bases flourishing in Pakistan, in which Abdul Rauf Azhar, brother of Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar, has also been killed. Asra’s associate Daniel Pearl was abducted by Abdul Rauf Azhar in Bahawalpur and then he was later beheaded.

Asra Nomani said that when he came to know about Operation Sindoor, in which a total of 9 terrorist bases were targeted in Pakistan including Bahawalpur, he came to know that India was attacking the real centers of domestic terrorism of Pakistan.

Dai Pearl came to Bahawalpur for reporting in 2001

Nomani shared an anecdote of his friend and WSJ reporter Danny Pearl, which came to Bahawalpur in 2001 and saw that there were open terrorist camps. While after the terrorist attack on the Parliament of India, General Pervez Musharraf promised that he would close Pakistan’s terrorist organizations, but nothing happened.
