China Issues Visa to Indians: On the one hand there is a trade war between China and America, on the other hand, India and China are constantly improving. It can be said that the Chinese Embassy in India has given visas to more than 85,000 Indian citizens between January 1 to April 9, 2025.
‘Indian friends are welcome’
According to Chinese Ambassador Zoo Fihong, “As of 9 April 2025, the Chinese Embassy and Consulates in India have issued more than 85,000 visas to Indian citizens traveling to China this year. He wrote on X, welcome to visit China and experience an open, secure, honest and friendly China.”
The Chinese government has also given a variety of discounts to facilitate smooth travel between India and China which are as follows.
No online appointment: Indian applicants can now submit their visa applications directly to visa centers in working days without any pre -online appointment.
Biometric discounts: Passengers coming in China for a short time have been exempted from providing biometric data, which has reduced processing time.
Visa Fee: Now, Chinese visa can be obtained at a very low rate, making the journey more economical for Indian visitors.
Processing Time: The time taken for visa acceptance has now reduced. It has now become possible to release it fast. This has benefited both commercial and tourists.
Tourism: China is actively promoting travel for Indian tourists. In this process, China is also giving information about its cultural attractions, such as festivals and destinations.
India-China relations are important
Meanwhile, Chinese Embassy spokesman U Jing has emphasized the importance of India-China economic and business relations. Jing said “China-India economic and business relations are based on supplementation and mutual gains. Facing the American misuse of tariff … two largest developing countries should stand together.” U Jing also said that there is no winner in Tariff War.
