Washington: America has given the biggest blow to the enemy country Iran with one of its decisions. Joe Biden’s administration on Tuesday imposed sanctions on 35 companies and ships transporting Iranian oil to other countries. This has created panic in Iran. This decision of America can have an impact on Tehran as well as India. Because among the 35 companies on which America has banned, two Indian companies are also included. Their names include ‘Vision Ship Management LLP’ and ‘Tightship Shipping Management (OPC) Private Limited, which manages and operates ‘Phoenix’.
Apart from India, the ban imposed by America includes companies and ships of other countries including UAE, China, Liberia, Hong Kong, which have also been banned. In a statement, the Treasury Department said the action, which followed Iran’s attack against Israel on October 1, was another blow to Tehran. Iran has announced to intensify its nuclear programs after the sanctions imposed on October 11.
