Another decree against Hindus in Bangladesh
Hindus are being continuously targeted since Sheikh Hasina came to power in Bangladesh. So far, more than 300 Hindu families and their homes have been attacked in Bangladesh and four incidents of mob lynching have been recorded against Hindus. At the same time, more than 10 Hindu temples have been vandalized and set on fire. Also, so far 49 Hindu teachers have resigned and been expelled from different universities and colleges. The condition of Bangladesh has become like Pakistan and killing of Hindus or action against Hindus, both have become common. Not only this, terrorists who kill Hindus are being released from jail and when the matter did not stop here, now Hindus are being prevented from performing puja-paath during azaan in Durga Puja pandals.
Restrictions are being imposed on Hindus in Bangladesh
Actually, Durga Puja festival is falling between 9th October to 13th October, which has been celebrated with great pomp in Bangladesh till now. However, this time it is not going to happen. Because the Home Affairs Advisor in the interim government of Bangladesh and retired Lieutenant General Mohammad Jahangir Alam Chowdhury has announced that Hindus will be prohibited from performing Puja and singing Bhajans on loudspeakers during Namaz and Azan in Bangladesh. If any Hindu is found violating this rule, the police will arrest him without any warrant.
There will be no worship at the time of namaz
Regarding this, the Bangladesh government says that Durga Puja pandals will be set up in Bangladesh between 9 October and 13 October next month. The committees setting up the pandals will have to follow this rule and ensure that this rule is not violated. It will be mandatory to stop all religious rituals and worship in all these pandals 5 minutes before Azan. Also, there will be a complete ban on Hindus listening to bhajans and chanting mantras on loudspeakers during Azan and Namaz. That means now the government is trying to control even the worship of Hindus in Bangladesh through dictatorship.
