The increasing war between Iran and Israel has also increased the problems of other countries. Turkish government news agency Anadolu has informed diplomatic sources as saying that the Arab League’s foreign ministers held a meeting in Istanbul late on Friday night over the increasing tension between these two countries.
Foreign Minister was present in Türkiye’s largest city Istanbul because there was a meeting of Islamic Cooperation Sangathan (OIC) in the weekend. Aeries started a week ago in this meeting were to be discussed.
Turkish Foreign Ministry has said that around 40 top diplomats will be involved in the meeting of OIC (Islamic Cooperation Organization) to be held in the weekend. In this meeting, a special session will also be held on the Iran-Israeli crisis.
Turkish Foreign Ministry said Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi, who met the Foreign Ministers of Britain, France and Germany in Geneva on Friday, will also participate in the OC meeting and address diplomats from other countries. In an earlier statement on Friday, Arakachi had said that Tehran would only consider ‘diplomacy’ again when Israel’s ‘attacking action’ would be stopped. At the same time, according to Turkish news agency Anadolu, the Arab League Foreign Minister is going to issue an official statement after his meeting.
Significantly, Israel started an attack on Iran on the morning of June 13, saying that Iran has reached very close to making nuclear weapons. After this, Tehran immediately retaliated, causing the most serious collision between these two hardcore enemies so far.
