Abuja: In Nigeria, the rebels targeted the police and attacked the police. Following such attacks by the rebels, military forces retaliated in which many common citizens have been killed. Giving information, the officials said that the Nigerian Air Force did not disclose the number of citizens killed in the Safana region of the Katseena state but spokesperson Olusola Akinboyeva said in a statement that the number of casualties was being ascertained.

At the same time, the international human rights group ‘Amnesty International’ said in a statement that at least 10 people have been killed in the air strike. The Human Rights Group described the air strike as a new incident on behalf of the Nigerian Army in a link to human rights violations and urged the government to conduct an independent inquiry.
