Cairo: At least 100 people have been killed in deadly attacks on Sudan’s displaced civilian camp. This has caused panic in the entire region. It is being told that the notorious paramilitary group in Sudan attacked the camps of displaced people in Darfur area for two consecutive days. More than 100 people were killed in this attack, including 20 children and nine support personnel. An UN official gave this information on Saturday.
In Sudan, United Nations resident and human coordinator Clementine Nakveta-Salami said that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and affiliated fighters on Friday attacked the city of Jamjam and Abu Shorouk camps and the nearest city near Al-Fashar, the provincial capital of the North Darfur province. According to the United Nations, Al-Fashar is under the control of the army. The army has been fighting against RSF since the civil war broke out in Sudan two years ago.
