Airforce station attacked in Bangladesh
Bangladesh Air Force Base Attack: Air Force Station has been attacked in Bangladesh. The attack has been carried out by miscreants at the Air Force base near the Cox Bazar Smittipara area in Bangladesh, which is struggling with political instability. Bangladesh’s Inter-Services Public Relations i.e. ISPR has given this information in a notification. This notification has been signed by ISPR Assistant Director Ayesha Siddika. It states that the Air Force is taking necessary action in response. An attacker has died in action.
Increased security
Saiful Islam, in -charge of Cox Bazar District Hospital, said that the attack took place at 12 noon. According to reports, the police is not allowing anyone to go to the scene. The police did not explain how the clash started and why the attack was carried out. Security has been increased in the area. The deceased has been identified as 30 -year -old Shahehahab Kabir. Kabir was shot during a clash.
Strategic way is important Air Force Base
This Air Force Base of Bangladesh is very important in strategic point of view. The Air Force Base is close to Bangladesh and Myanmar border. Apart from this, Bangladesh can monitor the Bay of Bengal from here. There is only one airstrip and the population nearby is inhabited.
