Donald Trump Assassination Attempt: Before the presidential election in the US, an attempt has been made to kill former President Donald Trump once again. On Sunday, an attempt was made to kill him in Florida in which he narrowly escaped. In this entire case, a 58-year-old suspect has been arrested by Secret Service agents. According to the FBI, an AK47 style rifle has also been recovered from the spot, which had a scope and a Go Pro camera attached. A few weeks ago also, there was a deadly attack on Trump. During the attack in Pennsylvania, the suspect was killed on the spot. During this, the bullet had passed through Trump’s ear.

What was found at the scene

An attempt was made to attack Trump when he was playing golf. When Trump was on the golf ground, an American Secret Service agent hiding at some distance from there saw that the barrel of a rifle was visible from among the bushes at a distance of about 400 yards. Palm Beach County Sheriff Rick Bradshaw said that an agent fired a shot after which the gunman present there threw the rifle there and fled in an SUV. He said that along with the rifle, two backpacks, a telescope used for target shooting and a camera were also found. Later that person was caught by the authorities.

What did Trump say?

After the attack, the former president said that he was safe and fine and a person has been arrested in this case. Trump said in an email sent to his supporters, “There were sounds of gunfire around me, but before the rumors get out of control, I want to tell you that I am safe and fine.” He wrote, “Nothing can stop me.”

What did Biden and Harris say?

US President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have been briefed on the findings of the investigation. Harris said in a statement, “There is no place for violence in America.” Biden also reiterated the same, saying that he has instructed his team to ensure that the Secret Service has “every resource and capability necessary to ensure the safety of the former president.” Three law enforcement officials told the Associated Press on condition of anonymity that the name of the arrested person is Ryan Routh.
