40 people have been arrested in Bangladesh after a violent attack on a student group activists during a vandalism in the house of a leader of the Awami League on the outskirts of Dhaka. This information has been given in a media news. Many people were injured in this attack.
The government of Chief Advisor Professor Muhammad Yunus ordered a “Operation Devil Hunt” on Saturday night after the attack on students and common people in Ghazipur district.
According to the news of ‘United News of Bangladesh’, Ghazipur Superintendent of Police (SP) Chaudhary Jeber Sadiq said that 40 people from different parts of the district were arrested under the campaign.
On Friday night, at least 14 people of the crowded Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s party Awami League, at least 14 people were injured in an attack in the Dakshin Khan area of Ghazipur city.
The violence took place during the attack on the residence of the former liberation struggle case minister Mozammati Haq.
