Bangladesh further increased its enmity with India, Yunus government has now taken another stressful step –

Dhaka: Bangladesh has further increased its enmity with India with its latest decision. The Mohammad Yunus-led interim government on Sunday canceled a proposed training program for 50 judges and judicial officers in India, rescinding an earlier notification. Due to this, tension between the two countries is certain to increase. “The notification has been cancelled,” a Bangladesh Law Ministry spokesperson said, without elaborating.

According to the news of the newspaper ‘Daily Star’, this decision has been taken in compliance with the instructions of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. The state-run Bangladesh Sambad Sanstha had reported a day earlier that 50 judges of lower courts would attend a one-day training program at the National Judicial Academy and State Judicial Academy in Madhya Pradesh from February 10. The trainee judges selected under the program included District and Sessions Judges or its equivalent officers, Additional District and Sessions Judges, Joint District Judges, Senior Assistant Judges and Assistant Judges.

The Government of India had to bear the entire expense of the program

The Government of India was to bear the entire cost of the training programmes. India and Bangladesh have had strained relations ever since ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina fled to New Delhi on August 5 last year following a massive student-led movement that toppled her 16-year-long Awami League government. Was. Members of the Hindu community and their places of worship have come under frequent attacks since the Mohammad Yunus-led interim government came to power on August 8. India has already expressed concern to Bangladesh regarding these attacks, especially after a Hindu saint was arrested in sedition cases last month. (Language)
