The instructions do not clarify what legal action will be taken against a person if he fails to submit his diplomatic passport.

On June 5, the Dhaka High Court had ordered to re-implement the reservation for the relatives of freedom fighters.

This reservation system was suspended by the Supreme Court there in 2018. After this suspension, such protests stopped across the country.

After this, the mob in Bangladesh resorted to arson and vandalism in the capital and its surrounding areas to press for their demands, in which hundreds of people were confirmed dead. Apart from this, the statue of Sheikh Mujiburahman installed in the capital was also vandalised.
