‘Bangladesh will demand to send back Sheikh Hasina’, statement of Mohammad Yunus –

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had to leave the country amid massive protests and violence in Bangladesh last August. Sheikh Hasina has been living at an unknown place in India since then. At the same time, now the head of the interim government of Bangladesh, Mohammad Yunus has issued a big statement on Sunday. Mohammad Yunus has said that his administration will demand Sheikh Hasina’s return from India.

What did Mohammad Yunus say?

In fact, on Sunday, the head of the interim government of Bangladesh, Mohammad Yunus, was addressing the nation on the completion of 100 days of his tenure. Meanwhile, Yunus said that the interim government will prosecute those, including Hasina, who are responsible for hundreds of deaths during the student-led protests. Let us tell you that Mohammad Yunus took charge as the head of the interim government of Bangladesh on August 8.

Will demand from India- Mohammad Yunus

Mohammad Yunus has said that not only the protests but all other human rights violations, including alleged enforced disappearances during Sheikh Hasina’s rule, will also be investigated. Yunus said that we will demand India to send dictator Sheikh Hasina home. Yunus also said that he has discussed this matter with Karim Khan, Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court.

Also sought help from Interpol

Mohammad Yunus’ administration in Bangladesh has also sought help from Interpol to issue a ‘red notice’ for the arrest of Sheikh Hasina and her associates. Yunus has said that the most important task of his government is to organize elections to bring an elected government to power. However, Yunus did not tell when the elections would be held.
