Muhammad Yunus, the head of the interim government of Bangladesh.
India’s neighboring country Bangladesh has been in political upheaval for a long time. Bangladesh has not yet been stabilized since the coup of Sheikh Hasina government. Currently, Bangladesh’s command is in the hands of the interim government chief Muhammad Yunus. However, even after this, the situation of the country is getting worse. In such a situation, news is coming that Bangladesh’s interim chief Muhammad Yunus may resign from his post soon.
Why is Muhammad Yunus thinking of resignation?
According to the BBC Bangla report, it is becoming increasingly difficult for Muhammad Yunus to work in Bangladesh. There is no consensus in political parties. Yunus is allegedly planning to resign due to increasing disappointment over political deadlock. However, in recent times, there have been reports of disputes between Muhammad Yunus and the head of the Bangladesh army. In such a situation, Younis’s resignation can be a big step.
How was it revealed?
Nid Islam, leader of Bangladesh National Citizen Party, has revealed that Muhammad Yunus is thinking of resigning. Nid Islam also met Muhammad Yunus and said- “We are listening to his resignation. So I went to meet him to discuss the issue. He (Muhammad Yunus) told me that he is thinking about it. He feels that the current situation is such that he cannot continue working.” (Input: PTI)
