The Biden administration told Congress (US Parliament) on Monday that it has decided to approve the sale of ‘MH-60R Multi-Mission Helicopter Equipment’ and related equipment, which has an estimated cost of US $ 1.17 billion. The Defense Security Cooperation Agency told Congress in a notification that the proposed plan to sell the equipment would improve India’s ability to deter current and future threats by upgrading its anti-submarine warfare capabilities.
