Singapore: On the demise of former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, the Indian High Commission in Singapore has taken a big step. The Indian High Commission has decided to provide a condolence book to pay tribute to Dr. Manmohan Singh. The High Commission said that the condolence book will be available for signature on December 30 and 31 from 10:30 am to 12:30 noon and from 2:30 pm to 4 pm. In this, people will be able to pay tribute to Dr. Singh on their behalf. You will also be able to write condolence messages.
Let us tell you that former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh (92) died on Thursday night at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). His last rites are being performed today on Saturday at Nigambodh Ghat, New Delhi. Expressing grief over the demise of the former Prime Minister, Chairman of the ‘Sikh Advisory Board’ Malminderjit Singh said that Manmohan Singh has inspired many generations of Sikhs across the world and will remain their source of inspiration.
Dr. Manmohan was very soft spoken
Dr. Manmohan Singh had a very soft-spoken personality. Malminderjit, who was part of the delegation that came to India with the then Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong in 2012, recalled his meeting with Manmohan Singh and said that Singh was a soft-spoken, patient and kind person. (Language)
