Britain’s Sikh MPs Warinder Jus and Jas Atwal once again demanded in the British Parliament that in June 1984, in the ‘Operation Blue Star’ in India, then, the involvement of the Conservative Party -led government -led government led by Margaret Thatcher should be done independently.
Jyus, who represents the ruling Labor Party in Wolverhampton West, Northern England and Labor MP from Ilford South in the eastern part of the country, raised the case during the House session before Lucy Powell, the leader of the House of Commons (Lower House).
He referred to the issue of 41 years of completion of 41 years of the anti -Indian military campaign in the Golden Temple and pointed to his fellow Sikh Labor MP Tan Dhesi for the assurance given by Powell earlier this year. Powell assured that “whatever happened needs to go to the bottom.”
Jyus said, “The documents revealed in 2014 revealed that the Thaccher government had helped its Indian counterpart by advising for ‘Operation Blue Star’.”
Powell acknowledged the concerns of the members of the Sikh community of the country, saying that they have no updated information since the last time the case was raised in Parliament in early January. He said, “When I was asked about this issue before, I took further action on it. But I am sorry to say that I am still waiting. “
