Lima: The bodies of 13 security guards abducted about a week ago from the main gold mine in Peru have been recovered. Security guards have died at a time when violence in the important mining industry of the South American country has increased. Peru’s Ministry of Home Affairs has given information about this. The gold mine, La Poderosa, states that the search and rescue team has recovered the bodies of the employees in the mine.

Special police force posted

The mining company accused the kidnapping of security guards on informal mining personnel, who were allegedly associated with criminal gangs. It is alleged that these mining personnel ambushed the gold mine on 26 April. Peru’s internal ministry said that it has deployed special police forces to locate and capture those responsible for these heinous crimes.

Company gave information

Peru’s capital Lima -based private company La Poderosa has given great information on the entire matter. The company said that criminal groups fighting to control the mines in the remote north-western city of Pataz in Peru have killed 39 workers of the company since the company started in 1980, including 13 people currently killed.
