Indian student dies after being shot
A 21 -year -old Indian student died of a bullet in Canada, while she was waiting at the bus stop to go to work. Then indiscriminate bullets were fired from inside a car and a bullet hit the girl. This lost his life. The deceased girl has been identified as Harsimrat Randhwa. She was a student of Mohock College in Hamilton, Ontario.
The deceased girl was innocent
The Hamilton police is investigating the murder on Wednesday. Police say the deceased student Randhawa was innocent. Giving more information about the matter, India’s Consulate General in Toronto said in a post of social media platform on Friday, “We are all saddened by the tragic death of Indian student Harsimrat Randhawa in Ontario’s Hamilton.”
Firing in two vehicles
According to local police, she was an innocent student who fell victim to the firing incident in two vehicles. Police is investigating the murder. Police officials are engaged in contact with the family of the deceased girl. All necessary assistance will be provided to the families of the deceased.
The girl’s chest shot
Police said that at around 7.30 pm local time, he was informed of the firing near Upper James and South Bend Road in Hamilton. When the police reached there, he found Randhawa in an injured state with a wound of bullet in the chest. He was rushed to the hospital, but died.
Car rider escaped after firing
Police said a black car passenger opened fire on a white sedan. Then a bullet hit a girl standing at the bus stand. Soon after the firing incident, the passenger in a black car escaped from the spot. The bullets also entered the back window of a nearby house.
Police gathering evidence
The police team is collecting more evidence related to the incident. Between 7.15 pm and 7.45 pm, Dashakam or CCTV footage is engaged in scrutinizing. Another video of the firing can help the police to pursue the investigation. (Input-PTI)
