CBSE has extended the last date for filling the form for this session’s board exams. Now students will be able to fill the exam form till 31 October. Earlier students had time till 15 October. Keeping in mind the difficulties faced by schools and parents due to the Corona epidemic, CBSE has decided to extend the deadline for submitting the exam form.
CBSE regional officer Ranveer Singh said that schools can now submit the LOC (List of Candidates) of class 10th and 12th to the board by 31 October. He said that if a student is unable to fill the form by 31 October, he can fill the examination form by 7 November with a late fee of Rs 2000.
According to the CBSE notification, students of general category will have to pay a fee of Rs 1500. On the other hand, students of SC and ST category will have to pay Rs 1200 as examination fee. Rs 150 per subject will have to be paid separately for practical examination in class 12. Rs 300 per subject will have to be paid for additional subject in class 10. Rs 350 will have to be paid for migration certificate. CBSE has also extended the date of 9th-11th registration till 19 November.
