Despite the ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah, attacks from both sides continue in Lebanon. On Monday, Israeli military airstrikes killed 11 people in Lebanon. Israel claimed that Hezbollah fired some projectiles at Israel, in response to which Israel launched heavy air strikes.

The Israeli military said Hezbollah fired two missiles near the border with Israel on Monday. The Israeli government has stopped people from returning to their homes in northern Israeli areas near the border with Lebanon after Hezbollah’s missile attacks. Hezbollah targeted Israeli forces for the first time since a 60-day ceasefire took effect last Wednesday.

Hezbollah accused Israel

At the same time, Hezbollah said in its statement that it responded defensively and warningly against Israel. He alleged that Israel was repeatedly violating the ceasefire. Along with this, Hezbollah also said that there is no benefit in complaining to mediators on this issue. Israel says that in response to Hezbollah’s attacks, it attacked Hezbollah’s fighters, infrastructure and rocket launchers. The Israeli army claimed that the projectiles fired by Hezbollah fell in open areas, due to which no damage was reported.

Israel and Hezbollah are repeatedly breaking the ceasefire protocol

Even after the ceasefire, peace is not being established in Lebanon. This ceasefire was aimed at ending the war that had been going on for almost a year between Israel and Hezbollah. However, despite the ceasefire, both the countries are seen repeatedly breaking the ceasefire protocol by accusing each other of violations. (AP)
