Russia agreed on ceasefire in Black Sea in Ukraine
Washington: The White House has given big news about the war of Russia Ukraine. The White House said that Russia and Ukraine agreed differently in the talks held on Tuesday in Saudi Arabia that they would not hold military attacks on ships in the Black Sea. In parallel statements, the White House stated that each country agreed to “ensure safe shipping, abolish the use of force and stop the use of commercial ships for military purposes in the Black Sea.”

The agreement was reached after a video meeting between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, in which the two leaders discussed the end of the war in Ukraine. Prior to the agreement, there were several rounds of conversations in Russia-US in Saudi Arabia and at the same time Trump and Putin also had a virtual meeting.
The US announced on Tuesday that President Trump has signed a historic agreement with Russia and Ukraine, under which ceasefire will be implemented in the Black Sea and will stop attacking Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. The statement issued by the White House states that the US will now help Russia to re -establish global agriculture and fertilizer markets and will also talk about permanent peace talks.

There were bilateral talks between the US and Russia in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from 23 to 25 March, consenting several important points between the two countries, including the arrangement of safe navigation in the Black Sea, ending the use of force, and stopping business ships for military purposes. The US will help to facilitate Russia’s agriculture and fertilizer exports, including helping to reduce the costs of marine insurance and ensure better access to ports and payment systems.
