The Chinese Embassy has reacted sharply against the new tariff imposed on China on the issue of Fantanail crisis by the US government. The Chinese Embassy said in a statement that the US should talk at a level of equal.
“If America really wants to solve the phenomenal problem, then it will have to negotiate with China on the basis of equality. But if America wants any kind of war – whether it is tariff war, business war, or someone else – we are ready to fight till the end, ”the embassy posted on social media.
🔹 China dismisses US allegations
The Chinese Foreign Ministry termed the US move to increase tariffs on sugar imports on the issue of Phantanail. A ministry spokesman said that these necessary steps are being taken to protect China’s rights and interests.
“America itself is responsible for its puffed problem. We were helping under human approach and goodwill, but in return, America is trying to blame us. We are being blackmailed by increasing the tariff. This will not solve the problem of America, but will weaken the conversation and cooperation related to our narcotics (drug) prevention, ”the statement said.
🔹 America imposed 10% additional tariff on Chinese goods
The Trump administration has applied an additional 10% tariff above the already implemented 10% tariff, causing a total tariff on import of sugar items.
