China’s President’s wife Welcomed Congo’s first lady at a tea Party: Chinese President Xi Jinping’s wife Feng Liyuan welcomed Congo’s (Brazzaville) First Lady Antoinette Sassou-Nguesso to a tea party on Thursday morning.
The meeting, held in the Chinese capital Beijing, highlighted the close ties between the two countries and strengthened the growing cooperation between China and Africa.
Feng warmly welcomed Antoinette, who is visiting China with her husband President Denis Sassou-Nguesso. Feng praised Antoinette’s long-term commitment to advancing healthcare in Africa, underlining the friendship between the people of China and Congo (Brazzaville).
“Our countries are like family, always supporting each other. We look forward to furthering our cooperation in various fields to benefit the people of China, Congo (Brazzaville) and the broader African continent,” Feng said.
Antoinette Sassou Nguesso expressed gratitude to China, especially Feng Liyuan, for their continued support in promoting the health and development of women and children in Africa.
He expressed his willingness to enhance cooperation with China, especially in the fields of health and education, and contribute to strengthening China-Africa partnership.
