Lahore: The Punjab police of Pakistan claimed to arrest ten terrorists, including two dreaded terrorists of Tehreek -e -Taliban Pakistan, who were planning to carry out a major attack. Pakistan police say that it has failed the major terrorist attack along with arresting the terrorists. The Anti -Terrorism Department (CTD) informed this on Saturday.
A CTD spokesperson said a major terrorist scheme in Punjab was thwarted with the arrest of 10 terrorists associated with the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) during the campaign in various areas of the province in the last few days. He said, “Two TTP terrorists have been arrested from Khushab and Rawalpindi along with explosives. He has been identified as Riyaz and Rashid.

He said that CTD Punjab conducted a total of 73 intelligence-based campaigns in various districts of the province, in which 10 militants were arrested with weapons and explosives. A total of 2.69 kg of explosives, 19 detonators, 35 -foot security fuse wire, an IED bomb and banned literature were recovered from the occupation of terrorists. He was planning to carry out a major terrorist attack in Pakistan. (Language)
