Close contest between Kamala Harris and Trump, know what election surveys say –

Washington: The countdown for the presidential election has started in America. In the recent election-related surveys that have come out, there is a close contest between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump. Harris (60) is the presidential candidate from the Democratic Party and 78-year-old Trump is the presidential candidate from the Republican Party. To win the election, a candidate needs 270 votes from the electoral college.

These seven states are important

Recent surveys indicate that the election will be decided by the results of seven states: Arizona, Nevada, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Georgia. Of these, Michigan and Pennsylvania play an important role in reaching the figure of 270. Polls by ‘The New York Times’ and ‘Siena College’ found that Harris is gaining strength in North Carolina and Georgia, while Trump has halted her lead in Pennsylvania and maintained his lead in Arizona.

According to the ‘New York Times’, polls show that Harris now has a slight lead in Nevada, North Carolina and Wisconsin, while Trump is ahead in Arizona. According to ‘The Hill’, “The race for the presidency appears to be a tight race and no candidate appears to have a clear lead.” In its final poll, ‘NBC News’ said that the poll shows That Harris is getting the support of 49 percent of registered voters in a head-to-head contest, while Trump is also getting the same percentage of support i.e. 49 percent. The news channel said, “Only two percent of voters say that they are in a state of uncertainty about the elections.”
