Joe Biden and Donald Trump
Washington: Both US President Joe Biden and newly elected President Donald Trump are taking credit for agreeing to the ceasefire agreement in Gaza between Israel and Hamas. The White House (residence cum office of the US President) had included Trump’s Middle East envoy in the ongoing talks for months. Meanwhile, Biden stressed that the agreement was reached within the clear framework of the plan he laid out in late May.
