Congress leader Rahul Gandhi meets Sam Pitroda in America.
Boston [अमेरिका]: Senior Congress leader of Congress and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi has reached America. In Boston here, Congress Overseas chief Sam Pitroda welcomed him and described Gandhi as “voice of youth, democracy and better future”. In a post on X, Pitroda wrote, “The voice of youth, democracy and better future. Rahul Gandhi, welcome to America! Let’s listen, learn and build together.”
Explain that Rahul Gandhi will visit Brown University in Road Island during his visit, where he will interact with faculty members and students. Apart from this, members of the NRI community, officials and members of the Indian Overseas Congress (IOC) are also expected to be held. Giving information about Rahul Gandhi’s visit to America in a post on X, Congress leader Paan Kheda said, “Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi will visit the Brown University in the United States’s Road Island on 21 and 22 April. He will give a speech there and talk to the faculty members and students.”
Rahul went to America in September too
This is Rahul Gandhi’s second American visit in recent months. Earlier in September 2024, he was on a three -day visit to the US. During his visit he went to Dallas, where he interacted with students and teachers at the University of Texas and addressed the diaspora. From Dallas, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi Washington, D.C. Go, where he interacted with students and teachers at the University of Georgetown. This is Rahul Gandhi’s first America visit after becoming the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha.
Rahul Gandhi had raised this issue last time
Rahul Gandhi becomes quite an attacker on the Modi government on going abroad. In his previous visit, he claimed to have planned to abolish the reservation system by the Modi government in India. The political storm arose after his comment. He also argued that 90 percent of the population of the country – OBC, Dalits and Adivasis, while arguing for caste census. But despite this, he does not have enough representation, which he described as a “elephant in the room”. Gandhi said, “When we talk about occupation of institutions, businesses and media, the issue is that 90 percent of India’s OBCs, Dalits, tribal people are not part of this country.
